Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine & Acute Medicine

About the Role

The post-holder will perform all the duties and have all responsibilities of a Consultant Intensivist / Acute Physician.

The successful applicants will join colleagues to continue the development of improved delivery of emergency care to the

acutely ill patient within the settings of the Emergency Floor and Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Albert Edward

Infirmary. This post may involve the review of medical patients in assessment wards (MAU and Lowton), acute medical take

(A&E in reach), and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Unit. This post will involve part of the week working on the

Intensive Care Unit, and full participation in the Intensive Care on-call rota (currently 1:8 with 2PAs allocated to
