About the Role
The appointee will join the well-established Department of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine and Integrated Pain
Services as a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine as part of a service development plan, for a new 22 bedded Intensive
Care Unit under in the new Acute Surgical Block (ASB) under construction which is due for completion in the autumn of
2025.
Applicants must be included in the GMC Specialist Register for Intensive Care Medicine or be within six months of CCT
accreditation. The successful applicant will provide a comprehensive high quality service to the department as a
