The fetal medicine unit specialises in the care of women with high risk or problematic pregnancies. We are a specialist

referral centre for the diagnosis and management of:

• Fetal conditions requiring surgery or surgical follow up after delivery (such as abdominal wall defects, congenital

lung lesions, diaphragmatic hernia, and obstructive uropathy).

• Significant fetal cardiac anomalies including babies that require surgery
