Consultant in Paediatric Gastroenterology
About the Role
Clinical: To provide expert opinions on patients with a wide range of acute and longstanding paediatric gastroenterology
problems, taking independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients referred to them Contribute to the service
delivering capsule endoscopy and wireless PH studies. Leadership and development of in hospital complex nutrition team
(enteral and parenteral). Work closely with nursing, and other staff to create / further develop systems of care
dedicated to the management of children with specific disorders, in keeping with the general philosophy of the
department. Lead dedicated paediatric gastroenterology outpatient clinics. Lead paediatric gastroenterology endoscopy
