Consultant Medical Oncologist - Lower GI & Acute Oncology

About the Role

Colorectal Medical Oncology:The medical oncologist appointed will work with the colorectal team to provide a

comprehensive clinicalservice for colorectal patients. This includes patients in the outpatient, inpatient and

ambulatorysettings, delivering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) and providing Medical Oncology input to theColorectal

MDT and a clinic at Macclesfield.The Medical Oncology Colorectal Disease Group, Chaired by Dr Michael Braun consists of

7 MedicalOncologists who manage patients diagnosed within the Greater Manchester and Cheshire CancerNetwork who require

SACT treatment, with a number of the oncologists delivering a peripheral servicethrough MDTs and clinics. Systemic
