About the Role

Health care in Manchester is changing. In October 2017 Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

(CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) merged to create a new Foundation

Trust, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) in 2021 this then expanded further to include the services at

North Manchester General Hospital.

Neonatal Intensive care is provided by Saint Mary’s Hospital, primarily in NICU on the Oxford Road Campus, with local

Neonatal Units at the Wythenshawe and North Manchester sites. These changes will make a real difference to the health
