About the Role

The service administratively resides within the Family Services division. The current post is created to tackle the

increasing demand from obstetrics and gynaecology service and to ensure safe obstetrics care.

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology service is offered across two main sites; Diana Princess of Wales Hospital and Scunthorpe

General hospital. The Diana Princess of Wales Hospital covers antenatal clinics, gynaecology clinics, ambulatory,

colposcopy clinics and theatre sessions. We provide level 2 neonatal care. The maternity unit, neonatal, NICU and

administrative offices are all located within the Acorn suite. Gynaecology assessment unit (24/7) with in patient
