About the Role
The post will be part time post, and working alongside another substantive consultant, Dr Natalia Wielgosz (0.6 WTE)The
BAU has its base at the Bethlem Royal Hospital, Beckenham, and has an integrated hospital school. There is a
multidisciplinary team, comprising nursing staff, a clinical psychologist, social worker, occupational therapist and
teachers. The medical staff consists of another part time Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, a Specialist
resident doctor 4-6 and a Core resident doctor 1-3.BAU is based on Tyson East 1 ward at the Bethlem Royal Hospital. TE1
has 12 inpatient beds suitable for young people aged between 12 to 18 years, and up to 3 day patient places. It is an
