Consultant Surgeon with interest in Emergency and Benign Surgery

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Consultant Surgeon with a specialist interest in emergency and benign

general surgery to join our expanding Same Day Emergency Care service.

The department is currently increasing the number of consultant appointments within this service to enable a more rapid

turnover of patients requiring urgent care investigations. This will support early decision-making and ambulatory

reviews in a ‘hot clinic’ setting, helping to reduce pressure on inpatient beds.
