Contraception Clinical Nurse Specialist
About the Role
Main Duties and Responsibilities To provide specialised advice for patients accessing SRH services. To independently
assess, plan, treat and evaluate complex programmes of care, with the use of Patient Group Directions (PGDs), or a
non-medical prescribing (NMP), qualification. To practice as a prescriber, if the post-holder has a non-medical
prescribing qualification. To communicate, describe and explain clinical, testing and treatment processes, in language
to suit the patient group/audience. To perform SRH examinations and procedures as clinically indicated/required. To
interpret and deliver test results, providing advice, appropriate treatment, signposting, and follow-up as required. To
