Critical Care Outreach Practitioner

About the Role

The band 6 CCOT role requires the individual to have excellent communication skills to be able to present and receive

complex information and escalate information to the CCOT band 7 and MDT. In addition you will need to demonstrate the

ability to use critical care skills outside of the critical care environment and respond to, prioritise and analyse

complex problems and situations to ensure effective interventions and timely escalation is implemented. The post holder

must be willing to develop an extensive knowledge of common clinical situations encountered within the range of

specialties across the Trust as well as providing both formal and informal teaching to staff at all levels and
