CURE - Associate Respiratory Nurse Specialist
About the Role
Develop knowledge and skill in smoking cessation management to support patients with the CURE project. Active smokers
will be systematically identified during hospital admission, immediately provided with nicotine replacement therapy for
the duration of the admission. The post consists of dedicated time to clinical practice, seeing patients on the ward,
running telephone clinics, some teaching / training, as well as providing advice to other multidisciplinary team
colleagues across the trust. Provide specialist knowledge and care to patients, relatives, carers and other
multidisciplinary team members. Work alongside the established Respiratory Nurses, developing skills and knowledge in
