About the Role
Main Tasks To be responsible for delivering high standards of care when accessing a Central Venous Access Device. To
participate in formal education and teaching sessions to registered nurses on the care and maintenance of Central Venous
Access Devices. To assess staff accessing Central Venous Access Devices and sign them off as competent. To maintain an
exemplar level of communication with patient, family and the multidisciplinary team. To establish plans of care to the
benefit of the patient and ward staff. Clinical Duties To undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients, participate
in the assessing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised programmes of care. To be responsible for
