CYP Support Worker (Male)

About the Role

To work with children and young people (CYP) and their parents/ care givers who are affected by Domestic Abuse in

Cardiff. This role includes providing both 1:1 support for CYP and their parent / carer, and a range of group provision.

The role aims to provide specialist support for CYP and family to understand their experiences, understand the impact on

them as individuals and a family, work through how this may have affected their thoughts, feelings and behaviours and to

develop positive strategies. The role includes supporting families both practically and emotionally to build their

resilience and wellbeing, and enable them to feel safe, listened to, supported and able to live free from harm.
