Dementia & Delirum Clinical Nurse Specialist
About the Role
Act as an autonomous practitioner to provide assessment, advice and liaison within University Hospital Coventry and
Warwickshire NHS Trust hospitals supporting people with suspected or diagnosed dementia, delirium, who have been
admitted to hospital for a primary physical health reason. Liaise with colleagues and provide education, support and
advice to staff within the hospital setting on a range of subjects aimed at improving their understanding and management
of dementia, delirium and any associated behavioural and psychological symptoms. Provide specialist advice on care
planning and interventions in relation to individual patient care to staff as well as informal carers. Provide advice
