About the Role

JOB SUMMARY: The post holder will: Have a passion to improve Dementia care throughout the Trust. Work as part of the

Dementia team to support people in hospital with a diagnosis of dementia alongside families and carers. Work

collaboratively with the MDT to provide a person-centred approach to care Develop training with the Band 7 Dementia

Nurses, making sure all training takes in to account the most recent research and good practice Deliver Dementia

training to all RUH staff using a variety of settings and methods. Supervision and guidance for Band 3 support worker

Support Dementia champions. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide specialist knowledge for hospital staff in Dementia
