About the Role
To be a highly visible professional lead for Dental Nursing within the Dental Directorate establishing and maintaining
professional standards within the dental nursing team. Directly manage the registered dental nursing team within the
Dental Directorate ensuring effective deployment of the staffing resource to meet service needs. Be the focal point for
control of infection, quality and governance issues within the dental nursing team linking with Directorate Clinical
Specialty Leads, consultants, Trust-wide and Directorate governance and safety processes; in doing so ensure that
delivered care is of the highest standard. To facilitate the professional development of registered dental nurses and
