Dental Nurse

About the Role

Military Medical Personnel is looking for a dedicated Dental Nurse for a long-term locum assignment in a military setting. This role involves providing essential clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer, ensuring efficient dental surgery operations while contributing to the dental health of MOD service personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical duties and sterilise instruments.
• Manage patient appointments and dental records.
• Adhere to infection control procedures.
• Assist in the central sterilisation area as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GDC standards and legislation.

Requirements

• Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Valid indemnity insurance with a dental defence organization.
• Minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week over the last 15 months.
• Current certification in emergency and resuscitation procedures.
• Health clearance for Exposure Prone Procedures.

Compensation

Pay rate is £16.59 per hour umbrella or £14.43 per hour PAYE.

Location & Schedule

Assignments available on military bases throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.
