Dental Officer

About the Role

Clinical Providing routine dental care, including preventive and restorative treatments andmonitoring of the developing

dentition, for pre-school and school-age children eligibleto receive care through the service. This includes all high

risk children and thoseattending Special Needs Schools. The dental care provided will be evidence-based andunder the

direction of the Head of the Childrens Dental Service. Providing emergency dental care for CDS patients as necessary,

within normal workinghours. Undertaking, following additional training if necessary, dental treatment undergeneral

anaesthetic or sedation, in line with HSC and GDC Guidance. Ensuring all clinical activities are undertaken in line with
