About the Role

The post will support career development in Community Dental Services through internal/external training and includes

the provision of care within the specialties of special care and paediatric dentistry and urgent care for patients

referred to LSCft by the Lancashire Call Handling Service.

This role is supported by an active Managed Clinical Network, Specialists in Special Care/Paediatric Dentistry and

experienced Senior Dental Officers and therapists. Qualified dental nurses have training in extended duties including

radiography, sedation, special care, fluoride application.
