Dental Therapist

About the Role

Restorative Dentistry duties will include provision of periodontal therapies and direct restorations within Trust

policies, procedures and guidelines for patients with Cleft Lip and Palate. There may also be a need on occasion to

provide treatment for patients with developmental defects of the enamel and dentine, and oral cancer. Ensuring patients

meet the oral health standards for ongoing treatment in relation to the patients prescription or treatment plan. Discuss

and inform patients of the indications for on-going treatment, including risks, benefits of treatment and possible

additional procedures required, in addition to the level of cooperation required by the patient. Assess, plan and
