Deputy Chief Medical Officer - Performance

About the Role

Work with the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nurse and other operational managers to manage

operational clinical matters in Divisions. Oversee the Medical/Surgical Divisions holding Divisional Chairs and

management teams to account. Deputise for the Chief Medical Officer at Trust wide performance review meetings as

appropriate. Undertake a lead role in reviewing locum, bank and agency bookings. Support the Chief Medical Officer in

setting objectives for Divisional Chairs. Participate in weekly Chief Medical Corporate Management Support the Chief

Medical Officer on a range of predetermined duties and during periods of absence. Provide strategic advice and
