About the Role

Corporate Management To take a lead role on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer for a portfolio of corporate

responsibility relating to clinical commissioning, transformation and system working. Support the Chief Medical Officer

on a range of predetermined duties and during periods of absence. Provide strategic advice and leadership on medical and

clinical matters to the Trust Board, Executive Committee and other relevant committees. In particular, advising on

clinical practice issues that have implications on the Trusts ability to meet obligations. Attend Corporate Committees

in the absence of the Chief Medical Officer. Meet with the Chief Medical Officer and other deputies regularly to share
