Deputy Manager Children's Residential Home

About the Role

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager for a new 2-bed residential children's home in Crewe. This role involves supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) while ensuring their emotional, social, and physical well-being.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each young person has an allocated key worker.
• Support staff in understanding children's care plans.
• Provide out-of-hours support as the on-call manager.
• Attend childcare reviews and planning meetings.
• Maintain accurate written records for monitoring.
• Work with parents and professionals to safeguard young people.

Requirements

• Secondary education with strong literacy and numeracy.
• Diploma L3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete Diploma L5 in Leadership & Management.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and equal opportunities.
• Strong team-building and supervision skills.
