About the Role

Join our dedicated team at The Hackney Day Nursery as a Deputy Nursery Manager. In this role, you will lead and mentor staff, plan engaging activities, and support children's development in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver stimulating activities in line with EYFS.
• Support children's physical, emotional, and social development.
• Lead and mentor your room team for professional growth.
• Maintain accurate records and learning journals using EyMan.
• Ensure a strong key person approach and uphold safeguarding standards.

Requirements

• Level 3 Childcare qualification – Essential.
• 1+ year in Early Years – Essential.
• 6+ months in a senior role – Desirable.
• Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge – Essential.
• Fluent in written and spoken English – Essential.

Compensation

Salary: £29,640 per annum based on a 40-hour working week.

Location & Schedule

Located in Hackney, East London, with 36-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
