About the Role

We are looking for experienced nurses to join our friendly forward thinking unit as part of our senior team. Our nurses

work closely alongside our multidisciplinary colleagues. This is an exciting time to join us as we prepare for the move

of the children’s unit from the Poole site to our new build on the Bournemouth site in 2024.

As part of the Band 6 role you will support junior staff and deputise for the band 7. The role includes managing patient

flow, staff allocation when co-coordinator for the unit. The children’s unit currently includes a busy assessment unit,

2 in patient wards, a -HDU and a surgical/medical day unit. This enables development in a variety of skills including
