About the Role
The Deputy Ward Manager will oversee a CAMHS Ward, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families. You will apply relevant policies and manage risks while promoting diversity and inclusion within the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the nursing team in delivering patient care.
- Implement policies and statutory requirements effectively.
- Assess and manage risks in the ward environment.
- Promote diversity and inclusion among staff and patients.
- Identify staffing needs and address skill deficits.
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with active NMC Pin.
- 18 months to 2 years of post-registration experience.
- Clinical supervision experience preferred.
- Commitment to professional development and leadership.
- Good computer skills are essential.

Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from £43,000 to £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location & Schedule
This is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week in Chelmsford, Essex.
