About the Role

The Deputy Ward Manager will oversee a CAMHS Ward, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families. You will apply relevant policies and manage risks while promoting diversity and inclusion within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the nursing team in delivering patient care.
  • Implement policies and statutory requirements effectively.
  • Assess and manage risks in the ward environment.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion among staff and patients.
  • Identify staffing needs and address skill deficits.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with active NMC Pin.
  • 18 months to 2 years of post-registration experience.
  • Clinical supervision experience preferred.
  • Commitment to professional development and leadership.
  • Good computer skills are essential.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from £43,000 to £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location & Schedule

This is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week in Chelmsford, Essex.
