About the Role
The Deputy Ward Manager - CAMHS will oversee the ward's operations, ensuring compliance with policies and promoting a therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Implement policies and communicate requirements to the team.
- Assess and manage risks within the ward.
- Promote diversity and inclusion among staff.
- Supervise team members and support their professional development.
- Address performance issues and promote a culture of learning.
- Support junior staff and student nurses on placement.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with active NMC Pin.
- Experience in clinical supervision and team leadership.
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
- Good computer skills and training in assessment.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards.

Compensation
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £41,663 per annum.
Location & Schedule
This is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week in Cheadle, Greater Manchester.
