The Clinical Practice Assistant (CPA) supports both the clinical and administrative functions of the dermatology clinic
to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience. Responsibilities include preparing patients for
visits, assisting with provider procedures, obtaining and documenting medical histories and vital signs, maintaining
exam room readiness, and managing specimens. On the administrative side, the CPA assists with scheduling, patient
check-in and check-out, MyChart messages, refill requests, and coordination of care to support efficient clinic flow.
