About the Role
The Dermatology Department consists of specialty clinics providing diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, including a
phototherapy service, day care topical treatments, dermatology minor surgery, phototherapy, Iontophoresis, photodynamic
therapy (PDT), complex wound management, cryotherapy, skin camouflage (as per service needs). Our Dermatology service
provides services across three sites, St Georges, Queen Mary’s hospital and the Nelson community hospital.
The CNS nurses working in Dermatology provide a variety of nurse led clinics and therefore all nursing staff are given
the opportunity to acquire new skills and develop their expertise within this specialty. The Dermatology Unit at St
