Dermatology Nurse Specialist
About the Role
To provide a high-quality dermatology nursing service to both in patients and outpatients within the Trust. This will
include cross site working practices. To run nurse led clinics with the support of either a Consultant, Clinical Lead
Nurse and CNSs Dermatology. To undertake assessments, initiate and plan appropriate treatment and investigations and
evaluate programmes of care for a defined group of patients. To act as a resource on advising nursing and medical staff
on dermatology patients nursing needs. To assist in the setting and monitoring of quality standards in relation to
clinical practice and specialist nursing advice for dermatology patients and in relation to NICE guidance and Trust
