Dermatology Unit Manager

About the Role

To manage the nursing staff within the dermatology department with all elements of management involved such as

appraisals, development, training, sickness management, rosters and leading change. To work closely with the matron and

operational colleagues to ensure the department runs efficiently and effectively, communicating with the wider

dermatology colleagues and stakeholders such as booking, Plastic Surgery colleagues and consultants The post holder will

deliver routine follow-up nurse-led clinics as well as support minor surgery lists Arrange appropriate training for

staff and ensure mandatory and statutory training compliance Report any clinical governance issues and support with
