About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, Band 7 Diabetes Specialist Nurse on a fixed term contract or

secondment for 14 months. The successful candidate will work within a nationally and internationally recognised diabetes

team. This large unit is well known for its dynamic and innovative delivery of diabetes services. Working within a

multi-professional team of Diabetologists/Endocrinologists, diabetes specialist dietitians, diabetes podiatrists,

diabetes pharmacists and a team of diabetes specialist nurses. The role will include taking a lead on an area of the

service and supporting and supervising less experienced colleagues within the team. This post will cover specialist
