Director of Music
About the Role
The Director of Music will oversee the music department, enhancing its strategic vision and engaging students through innovative lessons and performances.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the music curriculum from Nursery to Year 8.
- Coordinate concerts, ensembles, and departmental events.
- Assess student progress and communicate with parents.
- Manage the department budget and support teaching staff.
- Promote safeguarding and welfare of all students.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the music curriculum for relevant age groups.
- High standard piano skills with accompaniment experience.
- Experience working with Prep School age children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Degree education and relevant music teaching qualifications.

Compensation
Salary is dependent on experience, with a part-time role at 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) and potential for full-time consideration.
