About the Role

The Domestic Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff at Ashmead Care Centre. This position involves working closely with the care team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to the overall well-being of service users.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of furniture, floors, and surfaces.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of waste safely.
• Clean bedrooms and communal areas regularly.
• Ensure compliance with COSHH for chemical storage.

Requirements

• Understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Ability to manage pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Genuine interest in social care.
• Demonstrate care, compassion, and teamwork.
• Physically and mentally resilient.
