Domestic / Housekeeper (Care homes) - Full Time

About the Role

Join Friends of the Elderly as a Domestic Assistant in Malvern, where you will maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our care home. Your role will involve general domestic duties, ensuring a welcoming environment for our residents. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including vacuuming and polishing.
• Ensure laundry service operates smoothly.
• Assist with serving meals and refreshments.
• Maintain high hygiene standards throughout the care home.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

• Good standard of English and numeracy skills.
• Comfortable using digital technology for training.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety is beneficial.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Compensation

Pay rates are £12.52 per hour on weekdays and £13.77 on weekends. Additional benefits include a group pension plan with a 6% employer contribution.

Location & Schedule

This position is based in Malvern, working 30 to 36 hours per week, including days and weekends.
