About the Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the hospital environment is maintained to the highest
standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your responsibilities will include: Dusting, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
including floors, walls, fixtures, and sanitary fittings. Cleaning isolation and barrier nursing areas in line with
Infection Control Policy. Correct storage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials. Spot cleaning and spill
management, including bodily fluids. Cleaning general and specialist equipment as per policy. Report faults and
incidents to supervisors or the Estates help-line. Secure keys and ensure areas are locked after cleaning. Maintain
