About the Role

Domiciliary Care Workers at Nursing and Caring Direct NI provide essential support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. This role involves personal care, daily assistance, and companionship, ensuring clients feel safe and respected while receiving care tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing and dressing.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks like laundry.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Completion of an Access NI Enhanced Disclosure.
• Registration with The Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
• Full valid driving licence and access to a car.

Compensation

Hourly rates are £12.45 Monday to Friday, £13.35 on weekends, and £13.50 on bank holidays.

Location & Schedule

Work time is 30 plus hours per week, including flexible shifts on weekends.
