About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner to join the Early Intervention Team for Psychosis in Liverpool. This role involves supporting individuals aged 14-65 experiencing their first episode of psychosis, guiding them through assessment and recovery over a three-year period.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate care through assessment and planning.
- Develop and implement risk management plans.
- Direct unqualified staff to ensure quality care.
- Communicate effectively with service users and families.
- Participate in team meetings and service user reviews.
Requirements
- Professional qualification as a Nurse (MH), OT, or Social Worker.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to supporting complex needs.
- Knowledge of Mental Health Act and related legislation.
- Experience in mental health care preferred.
