About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner to join the Early Intervention Team for Psychosis in Liverpool. This role involves supporting individuals aged 14-65 experiencing their first episode of psychosis, guiding them through assessment and recovery over a three-year period.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate care through assessment and planning.
  • Develop and implement risk management plans.
  • Direct unqualified staff to ensure quality care.
  • Communicate effectively with service users and families.
  • Participate in team meetings and service user reviews.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification as a Nurse (MH), OT, or Social Worker.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to supporting complex needs.
  • Knowledge of Mental Health Act and related legislation.
  • Experience in mental health care preferred.
