Educational Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Educational Support Worker to join our special school in Bristol. You will support primary and secondary pupils with diverse needs, including Autism and ADHD, by tailoring their educational experiences and promoting their emotional and physical wellbeing throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support tailored to each pupil’s needs.
• Collaborate with staff to implement EHCP targets.
• Support communication and emotional regulation.
• Assist with personal care and mobility as needed.
• Build trusting relationships with pupils.
• Engage students during learning activities and transitions.
• Contribute to assessment and progress monitoring.

Requirements

• Experience with children with special educational needs.
• Nurturing and flexible approach to support.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion for inclusion and helping young people thrive.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Compensation

Five Education operates a PAYE payroll with transparent pay rates that include holiday pay. Specific rates will be discussed during the application process.

This role is based in Bristol, working with primary and secondary age groups.
