About the Role

The post holder will be required to work under the guidance of the Unit Manager undertaking tasks required in respect of

discharge planning, general administration and housekeeping within the department.

Whilst working under the guidance of the Unit Manager the post holder will be required to organise their own workload

and use their own initiative to ensure required tasks are completed.

The primary function of the role will be assisting the nursing and therapy teams in the promotion of flow into and out

of Elmhurst to expedite discharges, taking handovers for patients referred for triage by the Nursing team and using
