About the Role

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for Band 4 Emergency Department Technician (EDT), this is a new role being

introduced to our Emergency department to support the care we give to patients , the role will be to work as an EDT

assisting the delivery of emergency care within a specialist area. To assist and support the medical and nursing staff

working in the emergency department performing tasks and to perform blood test analysis in the ED PoCT laboratory

according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and to carry out specialized testing at the request of the nursing and

medical team. To contribute to the safe transfer of patients who are critically ill or injured with the London North
