About the Role

The post holder will work in autonomously within the nurse led Endoscopy Pre-Admission service in accordance with local

policies, protocol and guidelines alongside the inter professional team.

The aim of the pre-admission service is to ensure elective patients are provided with high quality and accurate

information about their endoscopy appointment including preparation and discharge requirements, leading to a safe and

efficient endoscopy journey. The pre-admission clinics will be carried out via the telephone at pre-arranged appointment

times or via face-to-face clinics.
