About the Role
The Senior Staff Nurse (Endoscopy) will act as a team leader for a designated group of nurses within the unit. The post
holder will assist the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in monitoring workload to ensure resources are adequate to provide a
safe standard of care and maintain quality within the unit.
They will ensure all staff adhere to Trust health and safety policies and will take charge of the unit during designated
shifts. The role also includes supporting the Sister/Charge Nurse in managing staff performance through participation in
the Trust appraisal process.
