About the Role
The Endoscopy Vetting Nurse plays a key role in ensuring patient safety and service efficiency within the Endoscopy
department. This role focuses on assessing patient suitability for Endoscopic procedures through thorough clinical
review, risk assessment and effective communication. The vetting nurse works closely with consultants, specialist
nurses, administration teams, nursing and leadership teams to ensure each patient is appropriately prepared and triaged
to the correct procedure and pathway.
