About the Role

To assist staff with direct and indirect patient care through engagement activities within clearly defined limits and

attainment of define competence. To work without direct supervision using initiative within the level of competence.

To support multidisciplinary ward staff to deliver a multi-component prevention of delirium and support vulnerable

patients who have a suspected diagnosis or confirmed diagnosis of dementia alongside challenging behaviours and physical

disabilities, using activity as a therapeutic medium to support recovery or by providing 1:1 support to meet their

needs.
