Epilepsy & Intellectual Disability Specialist Nurse
About the Role
The post holder will work within an established epilepsy specialist nursing service for adults with intellectual
disability. The service is an integral part of a wider multidisciplinary epilepsy team in Nottinghamshire providing
diagnosis and treatment of complex epilepsies and associated health conditions through specialist nurse-led clinics,
community home visits, and telephone advice. The post holder will assist in the delivery and continued development of a
high quality, specialist service to adults with Intellectual Disability and teenagers in transition. The person will
work in partnership with epilepsy colleagues in Neurology at Nottingham University Hospitals to deliver a countywide
