About the Role
As Executive Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Patient Care you will: Provide professional leadership to nurses,
midwives and healthcare support workers, setting clear expectations for standards of care, behaviour and accountability.
Act as the principal source of professional advice to the Board on nursing, midwifery and the wider quality agenda. Lead
the development and delivery of a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that learning from incidents, concerns and
claims informs practice. Hold executive responsibility for safeguarding and infection prevention and control, working
with partners across the system to meet statutory duties. Oversee the Putting Things Right process and ensure a timely,
