Experienced GP Healthcare Assistant

About the Role

Job Overview: As a Healthcare Assistant, you will assist in clinical care and administrative tasks to ensure smooth

patient flow and help the practice meet QOF and CQC requirements. You will work under the supervision of nurses and GPs,

contributing to health promotion, chronic disease management, and routine patient care. Key Responsibilities: Conducting

phlebotomy (blood tests), ECGs, blood pressure checks, and urinalysis. Assisting with chronic disease monitoring (e.g.,

diabetes, hypertension, COPD) in line with QOF. Performing wound care, dressings, and suture removal(if trained).

Administering flu, pneumonia, and B12 injections (if trained). Supporting NHS Health Checks and lifestyle advice.
