About the Role
The Falls Prevention Coordinator aims to improve the health and wellbeing of patients at Homerton by identifying those
at risk of falling, particularly older people or those who have fallen before admission. They will support ward staff in
implementing appropriate treatment, equipment, or education to reduce falls. The role includes reviewing incidents
involving harm or repeat fallers.
The post holder will work closely with A&E, inpatient wards, the Medical Day Unit, community services, primary and
social care, leisure and voluntary sectors, and the community falls coordinator to ensure continuity of care across the
